  The Sunrise in Asia

WEBNIC is now accepting registration of interest by companies, organisations and individuals looking to secure a .asia domain name when it launches in March 2008.

What is the .asia Sunrise?

The Sunrise refers to the period of time prior to the launch of the new .asia top-level domain during which owners of trademarks are eligible to register a .asia domain name containing the owned mark, for example: nike.asia, sony.asia
 What is the .asia Landrush?

The Landrush refers to the initial period of public availability of the new .asia top-level domain. Interested registrants who qualify for the CER can submit their entries now for the .asia Landrush priority registration.
When does .asia become available to the public?
General availability of .asia is March 2008


We will start accepting applications for the .asia Sunrise and Landrush priority registrations starting 10 September 2007:

1. Sunrise 1 (SR1) : Governmental reserved names
2. Sunrise 2a (SR2a) : Early bird Sunrise
3. Sunrise 2b (SR2b) : General registered marks
4. Sunrise 2c (SR2c) : Extended protection
5. Sunrise 3 (SR3) : Registered entity names
6. Landrush priority registration



We will submit your application to Registry when each phase starts.

1. Login to partner central
2. Click on "QuickStart Registration"
3. Select ".asia"
4. Submit your domain(s) and select the phase (1-6 above) you would like to apply for
5. Follow the steps to complete your submission
